Which do you like doing better - music or sound?
Both…in different ways. Sound is more logical and technical, it’s about building a believable world for the story. Music is about creating emotion, and making people care about the story.
What gear do you use?
I work on a Mac Pro running Logic and a zillion software instruments and effects. My primary instruments are piano/keybaord and guitar. But really, it’s not about the gear. It’s about what you do with it.
I really like your track _____. Can I license it for my film?
Maybe. Whether you call it needle-drop, production music or library music, I do produce a lot of music for this purpose. But, music that I compose for a specific film project is generally not available. Contact me and I’ll let you know!
